Young Roots Comedy Night

Suzi Ruffell’s All-Stars Comedy Fundraiser - 16th October 2023

Last night, we held our Comedy Fundraiser in support of the young refugees we work with. We’d like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who came along to show support for our work and enjoy a brilliant night of comedy together.

The event was held at The Comedy Store in Leicester Square – a legendary venue for improv and stand-up comedy.

We’d like to thank our incredible patron Suzi Ruffell for putting on such an amazing night, and for her dedication to supporting our work. Suzi and six fellow comedians generously gave their time to make it such a successful night – we are so appreciative of Angela Barnes, Glenn Moore, Sara Barron, Kyrah Gray, Sarah Keyworth and Romesh Ranganathan for joining Suzi to form a fantastic line-up.

We were blown away by the generous raffle prize donations from:

·      Experience Days, for a gift voucher to their range of days out and adventures

·      Dare Global, our corporate supporter, who sourced prizes including a 2-night stay in Bath and a luxury hamper

·      The Comedy Store, our event’s venue, who donated tickets to their upcoming show

·      Tom Davis, who donated tickets to his O2 show

·      Tom Allen, who donated tickets to see him live at the Eventim Apollo

·      The Bridge Theatre, for tickets to see Guys and Dolls

·      Nabo Colours, for a gift voucher for their sustainable handmade earrings

·      Go Ape, for a voucher for their adventure experiences

·      Everyman Cinema, Kings Cross, for guest passes to upcoming films

·      Dishoom, for a gift voucher for that can be redeemed at any of their restaurants in the UK

·      Greggs, for a gift voucher to use in their stores

We can’t wait for the next time we have the opportunity to come together with you all. Thank you again for all your support.
