Why fundraise for Young Roots?
Young Roots works with hundreds of young refugees in London each year from over 45 different countries, including Syria, Afghanistan and Eritrea, We support them to fulfil their potential through one-to-one Casework, youth activities, English language support, and access to specialist therapeutic and legal advice.
In 2022 we supported 873 young people, and this year we estimate reaching 1000. By taking on a challenge for Young Roots and raising awareness and funds for our charity, you’ll be helping us to reach this goal and provide access to vital services and activities for young refugees, as they heal from the trauma of their experiences and rebuild their lives in safety.
“I always feel happier and more energised after talking to my Caseworker and meeting other young people at the Youth Club. They support me with my college, talking to my solicitors and connecting me with counselling services.”
