Partner with us to support young refugees

Whether it’s engaging employees in new and meaningful ways, supporting a cause local to you, or standing alongside those who share your aims, together we can make a difference and support young refugees.

By becoming a Young Roots’ Corporate Partner, you can help change the lives of young refugees in your community.

Since 2004, Young Roots has worked with a number of socially minded business leaders and teams who are committed to supporting young refugees to fulfil their potential. Collaboration is central to our work, and this is why our dedicated team will work with you to develop an engaging and dynamic partnership that suits your business objectives, is based on shared values and will create a lasting impact.

Working together

Payroll Giving

Enabling your employees to give at work, via your company’s Payroll Giving scheme, allows them to donate tax-free to their chosen charity, thereby actually costing them less to give more. You could choose to match employees’ gifts, but even without, you will be introducing a legacy of regular giving that inspires staff and allows charities to plan for the future. Learn more about Payroll Giving.

Charity of the Year

Nominating us as your Charity of the Year is a great way to motivate your staff and engage them in a joint cause. Throughout the year, we would work together to raise awareness about young refugees and their stories, the refugee crisis, and the impact of your support.

Pro-bono work

From offering legal advice to young refugees, to having a specialist employees informing aspects of our work, your company’s expertise can help change lives.

Match-Funding

Whether an employee is fundraising for us, or we are launching an appeal, match-funding invariably motivates others to give more, meaning your impact is doubled.

Our corporate pack offers an introduction to partnering with Young Roots, including an overview of our work, ways to get involved and how we can develop a mutually beneficial partnership.

With Young Roots’ support I have achieved a lot. I have got my papers, I have learned English, I have made friends, I have got my driving license, I am going to college, I have a travel document, I had a good solicitor who helped me to win my case and can help me again. I still feel a bit sad about things in my life, but it is better than when I first arrived. I still miss my family.
