How to make a comment, compliment or complaint to Young Roots

We want all young people attending our service to feel safe, comfortable and able to share any problems or opinions with us.

Please tell us if you have any ideas or suggestions for how we can improve our activities, groups and support for young people.

Please tell us if you have any comments, complaints or compliments about what we do or any of our staff and volunteers.

If you are unhappy about something a staff or volunteer at Young Roots said or did, we would like to know about it.
You can do this by:

  • Talking to a staff member

  • Using our suggestions/complaints box at our groups

  • Calling our office on 0208 684 9140

  • Sending an email to our Safeguarding Lead, Paola Uccellari (paola@youngroots.org.uk) or if your complaint/comment is about Paola, you can email our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, Hayley Cohen (hayley@youngroots.org.uk)

  • You can go to our website and contact us on one of the email addresses listed on our Contact page

  • You can send us a letter: Young Roots, Suite 3.18 - easyHub Croydon, 22 Addiscombe Road, Croydon, CR0 5PE

What we will do:

  • We will listen to you and ask some questions so we can understand what happened.

  • We will not speak to other young people about this unless it’s necessary.

  • We will ask you what you would like to happen next.

  • We will keep you informed and let you know what we will do to find a solution.
